This study focuses on the risk of a problem as a new paradigm of social development. The objectives of the study include: to analyze the essence of the concept of risk and the specific risks arising in the field of education, to identify their main types; determine the socio-cultural and anthropological aspects of the impact of these risks on the formation of different life strategies of students. The researcher draws the readers attention to the absence of a single general scientific approach to the analysis of the concept of risk and describes the various aspects of the consideration of the problem, existing and developing in science: realistic, sociological, socio-cultural, ontological and anthropological.
