The study examines the influence of various dimensions of job satisfaction and ethical behavior on organizational commitment. A total of 186 completed and useable questionnaires from Malaysian employees in various sectors were obtained. Analysis from the stepwise regression highlighted that only satisfaction with pay and co-workers were significant predictors towards organizational commitment. Other job satisfaction dimensions (satisfaction with supervision and work) and ethical behaviors dimensions (co-workers, successful managers) were not a significant contributor towards organizational commitment. The study concluded with discussion on managerial implications and direction for future research.
