This study aims to define the degree of knowledge production among the departments heads at the private Jordanian universities in Amman and its relation to the degree of administrative creativity from the point of view of faculty staff members. The sample of the study has been chosen by stratified random sampling method where it consisted of (200) members of the faculty staff members; (139) males and (61) females. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, a questionnaire was developed; the knowledge production questionnaire which consisted of (17) paragraphs. The reliability and validity of the questionnaires have been tested.
