Abstract
Increased competition in the market of goods and services determines the need to find ways to improve the efficiency of enterprises. The high level of energy consumption has a significant impact on enterprise’s operation. Further improvement of fuel and energy use efficiency will be largely determined by the success of enterprise management of energy costs. Formation of the enterprise energy strategy is considered to be one of the reliable approaches to solve this problem. The selected choices for its implementation determine the need for a system of indicators to assess the efficiency of the energy resources use. The study considers the methodical bases of index system formation to evaluate the economic efficiency of energy use and the choice of the ways to implement enterprise energy strategy.
