Abstract

This study deals with possible causes of an unprecedented increase in the revocation of banking licenses, necessary grounds for cancellation of a license, possible consequences of its revocation as well as the ways of affecting the performance of the Russian banking sector. This study also reveals members of the banking sector having benefited from the revocation of banking licenses.
