Abstract

This study analyses the determinants of job satisfaction among a sample of social workers. Factors determining variance in levels of job satisfaction were investigated using mean job satisfaction scores. The analysis uses six independent variables (age, career tenure, job tenure, sex, salary and whether they were in private practice or worked for an agency/organization). A number of these variables were found to have an effect on the level of job satisfaction experienced by this sample of social workers.
