Abstract
The degradation of a party can give a damaging effect for the party itself and their constituent in this case Partai Damai Sejahtera (PDS). The actor’s behavior who join the party and show some aspiration but choosen through another party is an interesting phenomenon, specifically actor’s structuration dealing with another structure in their new parties. This research aims to describe the structuration process of PDS’s actor’s political behaviour for ideology contestation in other parties. The research uses phenomenological qualitative method. The results of this research show that the structuration on PDS’s actor’s political behaviour is a strategy of producing and reproducing social structure which is manifested in social practices involving the relation between actors and its structure.
