Based on the paradigm of the Applied Islamology, an idea that can be derived from Arcoun’s as a core of this study is its implication in the field of Islamic humanity ethics. From this study, the writer finds out the urgency of mutual relation between Islamic and Western in humanity issues, in which religious values can appear as its content. This research will using the heremeneutic approach according to the Paul Ricouer’s mode of thought.
