Abstract

The modern national historiography permits presenting the place and the role of historical links of Volga region and India to the people, understanding the phenomenon of Indo-Tatarian relations in the region, demonstrating Kazan. “The Star of East” and “the Great gates to Asia” as the historical center of ancient contacts of Volga region and Indian peoples.
