The impact of short-term exposure to waterborne lambda-cyhalothrin on Clarias gariepinus was evaluated through changes of selected biochemical parameters. Fish was exposed to 0.008, 0.009 0.010, 0.011 and 0.012 mg L-1 and control for 96h. The parameters measured were serum glucose, protein, cholesterol, triglyceride, Glutamic Pyruvic acid Transaminase (GPT), Glutamic Oxaloacetic acid Transaminase (GOT) and Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP).There was significant (p<0.05) alterations between the control values and the exposed groups on all parameters. The alterations in all parameters was significantly (p<0.05) dose dependent.
