Abstract

The vaporization/volatilization kinetics of different Nigerian crude oil spilled on different soil samples has been investigated. The rates of disappearance of these crude oil samples were low from soil samples of high clay, organic matter content and low porosity and vise versa. Crude oil samples with high molecular hydrocarbons contents also experience low disappearance rate.
