Amoebic typhlitis and cecal perforation represent infrequent but severe complications linked to Entamoeba histolytica parasitic infection. This research article presents a comprehensive investigation encompassing twenty cases of intestinal complications arising from amoebiasis within the period spanning 2002-2008. It elucidates the clinical manifestations, diagnostic intricacies, treatment modalities and patient outcomes associated with amoebic Typhlitis and cecal perforation. The primary aim of this study is to augment our comprehension of these critical complications, emphasizing the significance of early recognition and the implementation of appropriate surgical and medical interventions.
