Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to study the differentials, patterns and trends of life table surviving functions (lx) of Bangladesh during 1961-1991. For this, the surviving functions (lx) of Bangladesh in the census years 1961, 1974, 1981 and 1991 have been taken from Islam (2003). In this study it is also examined the low risk, high risk and very high risk ages of a life of Bangladesh.
