Abstract

The opportunity to increase the competitiveness of the agrarian sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan is considered in this study. The nation’s agrarian sector has considerable unrealized potential which can be successfully used to advance the nation’s global competitiveness. Data are presented to summarize changes in Kazakh agriculture during the past decade and to suggest fundamental strategies for the future.
