Abstract

This study examined gender inequality in enrolment for engineering education in Nigerian universities. Women enrolment and involvement in the practice of engineering education, was from available records, found to be too low compared to the number of men in the same field. Finally, strategies for increasing women enrolment in this area so that in the world of work, they would not only enhance their productivity, but also their status, were proffered.
