This paper discuss the performance of parallel computation on a network of PCs. One expects that there will be an optimum speed up which resulted from applying appropriate parallel computation techniques. We discussed two commonly techniques; the Taskfarm and the Static Domain Decomposition (SDD) models. We applied the models on Mandelbrot Set problem. Our experiment showed that significant speed up is obtained and the performance of the models are measured in relatively small data being processed.
