AB  - The study investigated the status of application of ICT in the management of secondary schools in Nsukka educational zone. Four research questions and four hypotheses guided the study. All the sixty principals in the zone constituted the population and sample of the study. Questionnaire was used to collect data for the study. Data collected was analyzed using means and t-test statistics. The findings of the study revealed among others that the extent to which ICT is utilized in the management of school records, school personnel, ensuring students’ services and enhancing school instructional programmes are to a less extent. Results of the null hypotheses tested revealed that there was no significant difference on the mean ratings of male and female respondents on the use of ICT in the management of school records, school personnel, ensuring students’ services and enhancing school instructional programmes in Nsukka educational zone. Based on the findings of the study, it was recommended among others that the national information technology policy should be reviewed to include a more comprehensive policy framework that will emphasize the use of ICT in all secondary schools for management, teaching and learning.
