AB - This study is aimed at investigating the relationship between manager’s leadership styles and the organizational commitment of staff. Therefore to determine the managers leading styles and the amount of organizational commitment, two questionnaires were used. The sample was North Azarbayjan (Iran) Agriculture organization that consisted of 40 managers and 400 staffs, selected through random sampling. Pierson correlation test and t- test was used for data analysis. The findings show that there is a positive relationship between manager’s developmental and transfer-oriented leadership styles and effective, normative organizational commitment of the staff. Also there is a negative relationship between manager’s chaotic and effective (emotional) organizational commitment of the staff. There is also no relationship between manager’s leadership styles and constant organizational commitment of the staff.
