AB  - Now a days, the urbanization development has led to the growth of industrial units and subsequently an increase in environmental pollution including the air pollution. This air pollution is a hidden pollution which has been increased in most of the developing countries in recent years. This issue has been solved in developed countries and it has not been seen in developed countries since the early twentieth century. The continuation of failed policies on urban management has led to an increase in air pollution in most of the countries. In this regard, the big cities like London have been able to reduce this major problem by adopting an appropriate approach. This study investigates the policies and measures by two major capitals, Tehran and London, in this regard.
