AB  - Research title is to identify and assess educational impacts of Jihad Akbar according to the verses of the Qur'an, the sayings of the Prophet of Islam (Peace Be upon Him and his progeny) and Imams (AS) in society from the perspective of Islam. Using the library method, the author studied and reviewed different interpretations of Quran, Hadith and moral reference books and other books in the fields of purification and Jihad Akbar and collected required information and took notes. At first, according to studies, fundamentals points in the field of self-purification or Jihad Akbar is mentioned and subsequently identify cases of self-cognition and mental health factors, mental health treatment in general, some of the moral virtues that constitutes man's salvation and eternal bliss and one’s contributors to eternal happiness and moral vices which constitutes some misfortune and adversity of man. Also, some methods and strategies to combat with passions or Jihad Akbar has been investigated and finally, in addition to proving research hypotheses, needed suggestions have been presented.
