AB  - Since, modern today’s urban spaces are elements that affect urban anomalies and disturbances and as a result of the lack of security in city, designers of social areas and spaces especially urban designers try to provide security for the users of these spaces by identifying the factors threatening security in public spaces. If there is no safety in a space or area that place will gradually lose its dynamism, vitality and comfort. Women suffer more than men from urban insecurities because of physical and psychological differences. In the discussions about organizing urban spaces and areas with emphasis on women’s security prepared with descriptive-analytic and implicational or pragmatic methods, the aim is to promote women’s safety and security in urban areas. Looking at the above issue with the presented theoretical foundations in relation to urban security, some questionnaires were gathered about the experiences of 15-65 years old women in Noor Abad Mamasani and some suggestions were given about providing security for women.
