AB  - The crime is one of the important parameters of society. Accurate and detailed information about crime and criminals in the country in general and in the regions is required to ensure the safety of people, to improve the effectiveness of law enforcement and to increase the productivity of governing decisions. Increasing the reliability of the criminal statistics is a topical issue for Kazakhstan. Basing on comparative studies, the research states that the system of official criminal statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan lacks credibility and needs to be improved. The researchrs recommend the ways to improve the reliability, accuracy of criminal legal statistics and the quality of their analysis.
