AB  - Depression is a psychopathological label that have been subject to an extensive discussion over the
last decades and is a one of the major issues in psychology and a pessimistic view of the future. The main
objective of this study was to survey the impact of cognitive therapy on students' depression between Iranian
student residing in Iran and India. The participants of the study which was done in 2014, comprised only
women. The investigation was done using Beck&#146;s Depression Inventory (BDI) (1987) questionnaire. The results
showed that cognitive therapy can impact female depression well (p&lt;0.01). The results support the positive
impacts of the cognitive therapy intervention on the depression between Iranian student residing in Iran and
India.
