AB  - The main objective of this study is to evaluate the impact of the contributory pension on employee savings in Nigeria 2010 using Oyo state public workers as a case study. It seeks to determine the level of awareness of the public sector workers towards Contributory Pension Scheme and the impact of Contributory Pension Scheme on workers’ savings. Empirical analysis revealed a significant relationship between the level of awareness of respondents and their savings. However, there is no significant relationship between Contributory Pension Scheme and savings.
