AB  - Tournament selection is a popular selection scheme commonly used in genetic algorithms. This method depends largely on the size of the tournament which influences the quality of the final solution. In this study, a new technique is used to dynamically adjust the tournament size using the fuzzy c-means algorithm. The efficiency of the proposed technique is shown by using several benchmark test functions.
