AB - The artifacts present in the Electroencephalogram (EEG) signal cannot be filtered directly because they turn into an immeasurable interference signal when they pass through the human body and also the spectrum of the EEG signal and the interference signal overlap each other. In this study, we propose a hybrid soft computing technique called Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) to estimate the interference and to separate the EEG signal from its Electrooculogram (EOG), Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Electromyogram (EMG) artifacts. This study shows that the proposed method successfully removes the artifacts and extracts the desired EEG signal.
