AB  - Security of electronic transactions in today`s high-speed electronic connectivity is a very important matter. The explosive growth in computer networks has increased the dependence of organizations and individuals on the information through network transactions. The trend to make security of the electronic transactions is now a principal interest. Cryptography is the heart of the secured electronic transactions. It is becoming increasingly important as a fundamental building block of network security by using the secret session-key. Session-keys thus play the central role to enhance network security and so it is the most important aspect of today`s high-speed electronic communication connectivity. In this study, session-keys and their importance, lifetime and the application areas are focused briefly in the secured electronic communication session`s aspects.
