AB  - Green technology is an applied technology by industry to keep the process of sustainable development. This study aims to discuss the adaptation of green technology to reduce waste produced by the tannery industry. The method used in this study is data analysis approach from the research survey which was followed by reviews of the causal relationship between model of green technology adaptation and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) of Tannery Industry in Sukaregang, Garut, Indonesia. The originality of this study focuses on adaptation pattern of green technology in small industry that encounter various resource limitations. The discussion findings showed that the adaptation pattern in the development of green technology for the Tannery Industry of SMEs need to consider the harmony with SMEs organization conditions, technological condition and environmental influences. The significance of this study is to identify intervention patterns from the parties concerned with (stakeholders) to drive green technology in SMEs Tannery Industry.
