AB - The objective of research was to study of the particulate matter and metal in dust from sources in the smoggy crisis period in Chiang Mai Province, Northern part of Thailand. The sources of dust were sampling of forest fire ash, straw ash and corn ash and road dust. The ash collecting was using hand sweeping method and the road dust was using the vacuum cleaner. The fourteen of metals in dust samples were analyzed by using Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (FAAS). The result found that the highest concentration of metal was of forest fire ash and the lowest concentration of metal was corn ash.
