AB  - In this study, neuro based intelligent methods for electrical motors&#146; sound recognition system are
proposed. The sound signals were used to recognize the loads speed and fault diagnosis of the motors. The
sound signals were processed by two separate methods, the FFT and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). The
results of both methods were compared to obtain the most suitable of them.
