AB  - The aim of this study is to maintain the constant frequency in the utility using matrix converter. Matrix converter is an ac-ac frequency changing system. In this study, the matrix converter is act as a frequency regulator. This frequency regulator (matrix converter) is used to regulate the supply frequency when it varies beyond the power quality limit. The performance of the frequency regulator (matrix converter) has been verified based on the simulation results using Matlab/Simulink software.
