AB - A study was carried out to assess the effect of temperature changes on evapotranspiration in Minna, Niger State. Climatic data of ten years period (1996-2006) were used in estimating potential evapotranspiration, using Blaney-morin Nigeria and water balance models. The estimated potential evapotranspiration obtained were compared statistically with pan evaporation using Correlation and Regression analysis. The results showed that temperature has significant effect on potential evapotranspiration and correlated significantly with evapotranspiration. Evapotranspiration increases with temperature and rainfall amount.
