AB  - An environmental impact of steam injection mining method applicable to Agbabu bitumen deposit was studied.  Steam injection tests were carried out on the deposit.  The environmental pollutants evolved from the tests were evaluated with respect to their source, impact, monitoring or detection and control.  The results of the analysis indicated that steam injection method would control the contaminated water in the mining of Agbabu bitumen deposit.
