AB  - This study deals with the development of a framework for the implementation of lean manufacturing principles in the automotive component supply industry.  This study consists of five major steps that involve extensive teamwork through a continuous improvement platform.  The developed continuous improvement model was successfully applied during a kaizen event at the HVAC assembly cell of a leading automotive component supplier.
