AB  - This report describes an infection of hepatitis E genotype 3a in an individual returning from a
vacation to Indonesia. The patient had signs of hepatitis as well as neurological symptoms. This case illustrates
that a zoonotic type 3 HEV infection should also be considered as a travel health risk.
