AB - A sampling of 125 patients was examined: 61 with psychotic (I Group) and 64 with non-psychotic (II Group) mental disorders and suicidal behavior. It is found that in the second group stigma of suicide is more important than stigma of mental illness in family, interpersonal and employment spheres. In spite of guilt and shame because of suicidal attempt, stigma of mental illness is more important for the patients from the second group than stigma of suicide.
