AB - Forensic Odontology uses a variety of methods in identification of human remains. One of them is done by the use of facial mapping which involves the use of antemortem photographs and comparison with the postmortem skull. The current techniques are: morphological comparison, photoanthropometry or photogrammetry and photographic superimposition. Despite the fact that these techniques are complex and substain a variety of technical restrictions, they are widely approved and applied.
