AB  - Unstable political circumstances on the Kosovo
and Metochy went in the direction of unacceptable,
legally unsustainable decisions and actions from the
aspect of international law until the unilateral declaration
of independence of Kosovo in 2008. The researchers do
not address the pointless issue: the legal viability of
Kosovo’s unilaterally declared independence but rather
analyze economic indicators before and after the political
turmoil and the impact of political turmoil on economic
growth. The results of independent samples t-test and
panel regression showed that political turmoil had
negative effects on Kosovo and Metochy and Republic of
Serbia economic growth.
