AB  - The utilization problem of metal containing coals was formulated. It was shown that the traditional methods of enrichment promote the formation of technogenic deposits on the earth surface. The results are provided concerning the experimental extraction of metal from the coal mine refuses by mechanical activation method. It was shown that the concept of coal industry development should include the development of innovative technologies for man-made stock utilization.
