AB  - The aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of an oral administration of the acqueous extract of triumphetta cordifolia on body weight, blood and liver lipids in normolipidemic Guinea pigs. The oral treatment with the acqueous extract of Triumphetta cordifolia (75mgkg 1) for two weeks showed a significant reduction of body weight as well as the reduction of blood lipids in normolipidemic Guinea pigs.
