AB - Karachi the megalopolis of Pakistan, with an ever exploding population due to a steady stream of immigrants is unable to provide resources and facilities to its occupants, therefore, a study of the Cause and Effect Relationship between quality of life, resources and facilities is an essential pre-requisite for Regional Planning. The study has put forward suggestions for improvement of quality of life based on first hand monitoring of local conditions observed in the area. The dissemination of literacy in the study area is of paramount importance in order to reduce disparities and to make better use of resources and facilities. Some shift or remodeling in town planning is also essential.
