AB  - This articles attempts to investigate the effects of socio-economic variables on expected fertility in Bangladesh by multivariate techniques. It is found that wife&#8217;s education and occupation have a negative effect and husband&#8217;s education has a positive effect but husband&#8217;s occupation has negative effect on expected family size. Ownership of agricultural land and Luxery goods, have positive effect on expected fertility. Two demographic variables age of wife&#8217;s and religion, have positive effect on expected family size.
