AB  - Safe motherhood is a current discussing issue in health problem and health care as well. Both GOs and NGOs are concerned with this crucial matter and have been taking many initiatives to reach the ultimate goal. But these initiatives are not also out of question in terms of its function and services. The present study will discuss existing safe motherhood services in Bangladesh and the reflections and responses toward those from an anthropological point of view.
