AB  - Infant feeding pattern has long-term effects on health, growth and development. There are many factors affecting infant feeding patterns. These can be broadly categorized as social factors, nutritional and health statuses of mothers and infants, bioavailability of nutrients and composition of foods and government policies. In this mini-review, current information on infant feeding practices and their advantages and disadvantage was presented.
