AB  - The present study intends to access the impact of the micro-credit program of NGOs to reduce poverty in Bangladesh. For this study, three NGOs i.e., BRAC, ASA and Grameen Bank have been selected. The study was basically conducted based on qualitative case study method. From the findings, it has been found that micro-credit program of various NGOs are playing significant role in reducing poverty in the study area. It has also been found that as a powerful tool of poverty reduction program of NGOs, micro-credit helps the creditors to reduce poverty more efficiently. On the other hand, creditors have been able to engage with income generating activities after receiving credit from NGOs.
