AB  - Health plays a prominent role in ensuring social and economic development due to its contribution in the construction of a high quality and secure social structure. The prominence a country gives to health can be measured through the resources it allocates to health services from the CNP and budget. ?mportant investments have been made in health care since the establishment of the Turkish Republic. However, the resources allocated from the GNP and the budget have not yet reached a sufficient level. This paper is about the development and importance of health expenditures in Turkey.
