AB  - This study aims to answer questions on how students at the National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM) utilises My Learning in English or MyLinE for English language learning. Particularly, this study focuses on one of the tools in MyLinE which are student forums. Findings suggest that students at the NDUM are not aware of how the forums could have assisted them to improve their English proficiency. As a free online language support system available to all public institutes of higher learning in Malaysia, it appears that students at the Defence University resist MyLinE because of several reasons.
