AB - Internet system is developed to satisfy a set of requirements that meet a need. A requirement that is important in Internet system is that it should be highly dependable. Fault tolerance is a means of achieving that dependability. This is our main focus in this study. This research presents a framework for optimizing Internet services using fault-tolerant approach. For effective monitoring, we describe an algorithm for accessing files over replicated proxy servers. The realization and actualization of this modeling is through the use of Markovian processes in which time is measured discretely, or counted.
