AB  - The electric drive at variable speed is inevitably requested by external perturbation and it is the seat of its parametric variations. These effects, influence considerably on its behavior.  However,  this study presents a contribution aiming to improve the performances of an electric drive thanks to the use of the algorithms of the Sliding Mode Control (SMC). The results of digital simulation obtained, illustrate good performances of this technique.
