AB - Third Generation (3G) systems are intended to provide a global mobility with wide range of services including telephony, paging, messaging, internet and broadband data. Wideband code division multiple Accesses is the system favored by most operators able to obtain new spectrum. In WCDMA, each user transmits a data sequences spread by a code commonly called spreading code. This code is unique to the Mobile Station (MS) to Base Station (BS) connection on both uplink and downlink. This study deals with analytical treatment and computer aided performance analysis of downlink FDD mode of WCDMA under the variable strategic conditions of processing gain, signal to noise as well as number of interference.
